Carollann
Scott is a sixteen year old from Agua Dulce, California. She is the
daughter of Benjamin and Tracey Scott. She attends Santa Clarita
Christian School and plans to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and get
a degree in Communications. She is a third generation cowgirl
and has competed in rodeos since she was four. She now competes in
Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping,
and Cutting in high school rodeo. Along with High School Rodeo Carollann
is involved in the California Junior Rodeo Association and she shows 4-H
pigs and lambs.
She was awarded the title of Miss California High School Rodeo in June 2008; where she won the Interview, Horsemanship and Impromptu Question categories. As the newly crowned queen she will move on to the National Finals in Farmington, New Mexico where she will compete against queens from most of the United States, a few Canadian provinces, and Australia at the end of July. She is proud to be representing California and cannot wait for her duties and responsibilities. For Carollann, being a rodeo queen is a dream come true.
