Sabal Rose Toney
Miss Florida High School Rodeo

High school freshman Sabal Rose Toney will represent the Sunshine State as Miss Florida High School Rodeo 2008 - 2009.  She is the daughter of Doug Toney & Valerie Toney and Jama Toney.

In her first year of high school rodeo she competed in Break-away Roping and Goat Tying.  As a member of the Florida Wrangler Division of High School Rodeo she served as Secretary and as an event student director.  She carries a 4.33 gpa, ranking her first in her freshman class.  Outside of the rodeo arena Sabal enjoys working with handicapped children, singing, drawing, snorkeling, acting and showing horses.  Her future plans include pursuing a Bachelors degree in  Fashion Design and Merchandising while continuing to rodeo and participate in horse shows.

"Growing up around horses, rodeo and rodeo queens, it has always been my dream to become the FHSRA Queen.  It would truly be an honor to represent the moral and academic values that the FHSRA represents."

Sabal will travel to Farmington, NM in July to represent Florida during the National High School Rodeo Finals in the queen contest.  For more information on the Florida High School Rodeo Association and the Wrangler division for junior high students, visit their website.
