Amanda Haworth
2008 Kootenai River Rodeo Queen

Amanda Haworth is the 17 year old middle daughter of Chester and Lynn Haworth from Moyie Springs, Idaho. Amanda was born and raised in Arizona. Amanda started on horseback riding at the tender age of 2 with older sister Heidi. Around the age 7 years old, Amanda caught the barrel racing bug and joined the local barrel racing club. For 5 years Amanda was always a top 5 barrel racer in Payson, AZ and Gila County. Amanda joined the NBHA, and AW4D along with the Arizona High School Rodeo Association her freshman year.

Amanda and her family own the Praying Monk Ranch where they train and breed barrel horses. Amanda’s current mounts are Bardells Last Flame, Fast Dashin Classic and THR Hopeful Perks. Amanda is currently leading the EWJRA first in the SR. girls barrel racing. Amanda’s goals are to qualifier for the AQHA World Show, NFR, and WNFR.

The Kootenai River Rodeo celebrated their 42nd Annual rodeo in downtown Bonners Ferry, ID June 27 & 28. Amanda invites you to come and ride in the rodeo June  26 & 27, 2009 for another great rodeo in Northern Idaho.
