year old Dayna Iverson from
Preston
,
Minnesota
has been selected Miss Rodeo Minnesota 2008! She was born and raised
with rodeo running through her blood. This junior and high school rodeo
All-Around cowgirl competed in all 6 girls events. In addition to rodeo,
Dayna also participated in track, volleyball and basketball where she
was recognized as most valuable player, captain and athlete of the
month. Education is also a priority for Dayna. She graduated high school
in the top 5 % of her class, was nominated for Who's Who of American
students and was first alternate for girls state. Dayna went on to
attend
California
State
University
, Stanislaus, and work as a personal trainer while obtaining her degree.
Active on her college campus, she was elected student body vice
president, class president and was member a several service
organizations. Recently, Dayna graduated with a Bachelors degree in
Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Human
Resources. These skills will be put to excellent use as she travels the
Great Lakes
region and beyond promoting the sport of rodeo and its invaluable
sponsors and competitors as Miss Rodeo Minnesota 2008.
