Bismarck cowgirl Emily Paige Carson is the 2008 Little Miss Rodeo Prairie Rose. She captured the coveted crown at the 5th Annual Miss Rodeo Prairie Rose Pageant after winning the horsemanship, personality and appearance awards. Miss Carson is the 12-year-old-daughter of Karl and Tracy Carson. She is the youngest of three children and a very proud auntie. Emily attends Wachter Middle School in Bismarck and loves to share her passion for horses and rodeo with everyone she meets. Rodeo is a family friendly sport with something for everyone to enjoy. Emily believes that as Little Miss Rodeo Prairie Rose she can be a positive role model in the community and to her peers. Her hobbies include: volleyball, playing clarinet, shopping, and rodeo. She is a member of the North Dakota Junior High Wrangler Division, where she competes in barrel racing and pole bending. Gaining the title of Little Miss Rodeo Prairie Rose means that Carson will spend the year 2008 traveling North Dakota as a representative of the Wing Rodeo and the Miss Rodeo Prairie Rose Pageant.
